Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple

What can I say, I am one of the (probably) millions who loves lip butters. Not because they are cheap (because, let's face it, they're not exactly cheap in Australia), but because they are lovely quality, and easy to wear. Really nice pigmentation, whilst still looking and feeling nice on the lips.

Over the next week or so I am going to do a post on each of the Lip Butters that I have, starting with Candy Apple.

A nice, vibrant red lip without it being intense or feeling like you're over done. A red wash to the lip has always been a favourite of mine, and Candy Apple doesn't let me down.

It is an easy red to wear. It is never over powering and is definitely a colour you can wear both day and night. It fades really nice throughout the day, but also manages to last a relatively long time for a colour that is marketed as a balm rather than a lipstick. I am quite pale and the shade compliments my fair skin really well.

Candy Apple is definitely a lip colour you can throw in your bag and apply on the go. No regrets picking this one up!

Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Silk Road

A few months ago I was browsing the HQ Hair website, lusting over the Nars products. I hadn't purchased any Nars products before, and I decided it was about time I did! I chose a few items, which included one of their duos in Silk Road.

I was looking for two complimentary shades I could wear together, as a wash over the lid individually, and also something that would introduce me to the amazingness which is Nars.

Silk Road - Two beautiful shades; a lovely icy pink, champagne colour and a bronzy rose gold. They are absolutely gorgeous together and even better by themselves - absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It's safe to say that I definitely wasn't disappointed when it came in the post.

They are both shimmery shades, and the darker of the two has chunky golden glitter throughout it.

The pigmentation it great, the wear beautifully, don't fade or crease throughout the day. They are wonderful shadows, and I would highly recommend them.

The only problem is that now I feel as though I have to buy more duos from Nars! ^_^
